So you all know by now that patch 6.2 is just around the corner as the PTR is up and running for quite some time now. As such I thought it would be good to talk a little about what goodies and updates this new version will be bringing about. Obviously I will be doing it in a most obnoxious manner and without any regard to any kind of rules, ranting, cursing around and about without any respect for anything except for the way in which everything is written. Yesterday we got a new PTR update on the devlog and I must confess that things look good, however there still is plenty of work to be done and hopefully the new content will get back at least some of the 3 million recent drop-outs. Anyways you can read the full post right here: WoW 6.2 Patch Guide.
And that is about it. Some of the topics covered include the new raid (Archi returns!), features such as the old dungeon revamping system and obviously the good old token system. There is some talk about a few guides out there that are still pretty good despire their long run and obvious drawbacks (such as gold guides when you can literally buy gold through the token system). And a few more surprises.

Aaaaaaaannnnnddddd we're back ... (To games and gaming)
Took me some time to bring everything around and finally be free from the "evil clutches" of serious marketing that is only done for money and no passion (or maybe just little passion) whatsoever is involved. After I was drunk on my preliminary success, raking in 4 figures on a weekly basis for almost two months I got kinda "backstapped" in the following month by the huge refund amounts and I was very dishearted by the whole situation ... So much heart I lost that it took me almost a week of weeping and moping about in the rain until I got myself back on track and got back to doing what I do best and that is rant about video games and only briefly recommend a thing or two on the side and maybe that earn a commision or two from there.
Anyways I learned my lesson well and from now on (although I still have a couple of hardcore marketing gigs going pretty strong as I write this) I will focus more on getting my blogs updated (all of my blogs). As you may or may not know, I started this particular blog back in 2011 when I first learned of online marketing and quite frankly I had no idea what on earth I was doing back then (not that I would be very bright today or something, but still I know a bit more now than I did back then). Originally I was basically talking and spamming this blog with products and affiliate links (most of which still work if you'll analyze them carefully and although not many of them earn me commisions, some of them still do - which is quite a cool thing if you think of it). The blog has been through a lot in its almost four years of existance (including one major shuttdown and spam alert flag - which I eventually overcome - after all you are reading this right now) and since then I basically only used it to promote (basically link in a very spammy way to my own .com blog that I only own for almost 3 years) where I talk about gaming and gaming related stuff (and I ocassionaly do a product review, but I honestly have a lot to catch up on that domain if you ask me).
Such as it is this would be the history of this small blog up until its latest post (which was in movember 2014 if you just scroll down a little) when I got "back to basics" with a good old product recommendation for CBU which went much better than I would have thought, but also managed to make me really mad in the process (as I have underlined in the opening lines). Finally that was done for and everything worked out pretty well if you ask me and as such I now decided to continue work (and hopefully improve my standing with the .com blog that I still own) and who knows maybe even earn an honest buck with it in the process while trying to figure what will be my next big thing! With these being said I welcome all of you back and invite you to check out my latest post on strategy-game-guides.com with the promise that more will follow. And I guess I'll be seeing this blog around as here as well since even in my prolongued absence it would seem that enough people checked this whole gig out as well (which is quite cool if you think of all the potential it has).
